
GYROKINESIS® follows the same principles and movements of GYROTONIC® but is practiced on a mat and chair, without the equipment.
This type of exercise addresses the entire body, stimulates energy flow, emotional release and mental focus.
Without the equipment, the practitioners experience more freedom of motion and need of finding themselves functional strategies for intelligent movement.
The class is composed of rhythmical and flowing sequences that increase strength and flexibility, mobility of the joints and stability of the center.

GYROKINESIS® for everybody
The GYROKINESIS® basic format is beneficial for any body type.
The exercises are executed in sequences of circular and spiraling movements, carefully coordinated with specific breathing patterns. This combination facilitates mental focus, release of tension and blockages in the body. The exercises of a Gyrokinesis class provide a complete workout, strengthening and stretching the whole body: practitioners are asked to engage deep group muscles and to achieve a “connected body”, moving gracefully as a whole. Circulation and glands are stimulated by specific exercises.
All levels are welcome to this class, we will start from the basics and follow the energy and capacity of the group.

GYROKINESIS® for dancers
This class provides you with exercise sequences based on the GYROKINESIS® method that support your daily activities as dancer or that can become your tool to maintain your physicality as retired dancer.
During the class we work on alignment in motion, on creating space in the joints, on simultaneously elongating and strengthening each muscle group and on developing inner connections within the total body. Through precise and in-depth training you gain stabilization and freedom in movement at the same time.
